About Our Service & WaaS

What is WaaS (Website as a Service)?

+
WaaS means you get a professionally designed, fully managed website for a small upfront setup fee plus a simple monthly subscription — instead of one big payment. Your monthly plan covers hosting, security, maintenance, updates, and support, so your website is always taken care of.

How is this different from hiring a traditional web designer?

+
A traditional build often costs anywhere from $3,000 to $10,000 upfront, and then leaves you on your own to host, update, and maintain it. We do it differently: a low setup fee, a predictable monthly plan, and a real team that manages everything for you — with no surprise invoices for a simple photo swap.

Who is WaaS best for?

+
We're honest that it's not for everyone. It's perfect for local and home-service business owners who know they need an online presence but don't have the time, desire, or tech skills to build and manage a website themselves. If you'd rather focus on running your business while we handle the website, this is built for you.

Pricing & Payments

How much does it cost?

+
Every business is a little different, so we tailor a plan to your needs. In general, you pay a small one-time setup fee, then a simple flat monthly subscription that covers everything — no hidden fees, no surprise bills. Our monthly plans start at $97/month.

Do I have to pay extra to change something on my website?

+
No! Your monthly subscription includes up to 60 minutes each month for changes like adding new photos, updating your business hours, or changing the services you offer. For a major change — such as adding a brand-new page that wasn't part of your original site — there may be an additional charge, which we'll always quote and discuss with you upfront.

Is there a contract or setup fee?

+
There's a small upfront setup fee to get your site designed and launched, then your monthly plan begins. No long-term contracts.

Ownership, Cancellation & What Happens If I Leave

Do I own my website?

+
Your website is custom built for your business, but it can't be transferred. It's yours to use for as long as your subscription stays active, and you always own the text and images displayed on your site.

What happens if I cancel?

+
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Because the website itself stays with us, it isn't transferable once canceled — but you can request your copy, images, and domain, and we'll transfer those to you.

Can I make changes or updates to my site?

+
Absolutely — just reach out. Need new photos added, hours updated, or a service changed? Your monthly plan includes 60 minutes for content updates each month, and we handle it for you.

Getting Started & Timeline

How long does it take to build my website?

+
Much faster than a traditional agency project. Where a traditional build can take six weeks to three months, we typically get your site designed and live within 10–14 days after you submit your onboarding form, because our process is streamlined from the start.

What do you need from me to get started?

+
Just a simple onboarding form and some basics about your business — your services, photos, and goals. We guide you through it and handle the rest.

What about my domain — who takes care of that?

+
We do! Already have a domain? Great — we'll guide you through transferring it to us. No domain yet? No problem — we'll help you find the best one for your website. Either way, we take care of your domain and any costs involved.

What if I already have a website?

+
No problem. We don't transfer existing websites, but we'll design a fresh, better-performing one within our managed plan — so you get a new site plus ongoing care.

Websites, SEO & Getting Found

Will my website help me show up on Google?

+
Yes — every site we build includes solid, foundational local SEO best practices: clean structure, fast load times, mobile-friendly design, and clear local and service information, so you're set up to get found when local customers search.

Do you work with my type of business?

+
We specialize in local and home-service businesses — painters, plumbers, HVAC, contractors, concrete, carpenters, auto shops, landscapers, and more — and we're open to other industries too.

Who will I be working with?

+
You'll work directly with us. We're a small team, so you'll be in touch with the founders at some point throughout the process, along with our assistant. Real people, real support, whenever you need us.
